Every wednesday I go to a math group with a teacher called Whaea Nikki she teaches us new math games and new card games you can make into a maths game and learn times tables. The card game is I see twenty and I see fifty they were pretty tricky to learn but I soon got the hang of it. The aim of the game is to spread a whole pack of playing cards upside down out on a table. When they are separated on the table the first person flips over two cards and has to try and get twenty and it is possible if you flip two tens at once but if they cant make twenty like say if they got a five and a six that’s only eleven so they leave them there. Then let the next person flip two cards and say they get a nine and a ten which is nineteen but say if there is another ten on the table they can take that and that’s twenty and its the person who has the most cards when there’s no cards left on the table I find the game fun when people don’t cheat and that game is the exact same as I see fifty.
